PolySpec^® IMO UltraLite is a ultra lightweight epoxy mortar filler comprised of a proprietary resin blend mixed with ultra lightweight aggregates.  This trowel applied system takes the place of traditional cementitious filler materials in thicknesses of more than 1”, and exceeds the current IMO requirements for fire, smoke, and tox safety.

IMO UltraLite is packaged in ready to use kits, containing all components necessary to properly mix the trowel coat.  This product is extremely easy to mix and install, and contains no VOC’s, which allows application on any inhabited or uninhabited deck.

Properly applied, this product provides an excellent substrate for virtually any type of finish flooring system.  IMO UltraLite is ideal for filling void spaces where a failed floating floor, or heavy fill cementitious underlay system, has been removed, in order to keep existing bulkheads, piping, and wiring in place. 

The IMO UltraLite system exhibits excellent thermal, sound, and vibration uinsulation characteristics.  The complete system is approved with an epoxy bond coat and compatible sealer coat, which allows for use in wet or dry spaces.

PolySpec^® IMO UltraLite has been approved as meeting Parts 2 and 6 of Annex 1 of the IMO Fire Testing Procedures Code and is classified as a primary deck covering. Coast Guard Approval # 164.106/36/0 and 164.117/33/0.
